EVENT DETAILS

The purpose of this symposium is to organize a three days meeting which includes technical sessions, poster sessions and field excursion to discuss about advanced applications of geospatial data for environmental monitoring. The aim of this symposium to bring together the researchers from Japan, India and Russia to discuss the current advancement in geospatial techniques and its applications. This symposium will also provide an opportunity to share knowledge, facilitate discussion and encourage research collaborations in the field of geospatial applications. This symposium will be useful for expanding the collaborative research among the participants and to discuss about funding opportunities. We will also organize a Hands-on-training programme on Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PolSAR) and round table discussion. The symposium will be followed by a field excursion to Tomakomai experimental forest, to discuss and experience the flux tower and forest types in Hokkaido region.
